Footgolf Youth and Sports Association was established on 17 December 2018 by active players for the development of this new sport in Turkey. The association's statute was created by evaluating different sports organizations operating in Turkey. FGSD's mission is simple, with a clear vision and goals.

FGSD organizes Ford Turkish Footgolf Tour, Turkish Footgolf Cup, Footgolf Teams League and several other footgolf events with than 300 members.

Our association has obtained the official membership status at Federation for International FootGolf (FIFG), the international umbrella organization of footgolf, in October 2021. With this membership, FGSD has been entitled to organize FIFG tournaments in Turkey, that are part of World Tour and European Tour. As the official body in Turkey, FGSD offers all players a chance to obtain FIFG license and participate in tournaments abroad.

Following it's membership at FIFG, FGSD also became a founding member of the European FootGolf Association (EFA), the European body of footgolf, in December 2021. EFA works together with FIFG for the development of footgolf in Europe.
